MouseMatic Mousepads

When the great people at MouseMatic reached out to me, I had the opportunity to create a collection of 3D models showcasing their mousepads. I focused on accurately capturing details such as the stitching and rubber underside, creating realistic and easily readable renders for their marketing and website. The models were also built to be easily modified, allowing new designs to be added as they are released.

Having the Mousepads in hand was a great help in accurately recreating the products they were designed to represent. I chose to use simple, procedural textures for both sides and the outer edge, making them easily modifiable and scalable while keeping the polygon count low. This left more room to model the fine stitching as a separate object, adding a subtle layer of depth that may not be immediately noticeable but greatly enhances the overall quality of the renders.
